Your day, second shift

Clock in at 2:00 p.m. and step into a clean, well-organized paint area. You review travelers and blueprints, mask a new batch of parts, and stage them on drying racks. You verify equipment settings, start the paint process, and keep quality front and center—checking finishes, making adjustments, and documenting results. By 10:30 p.m., you've wrapped up with a spotless workstation and products that meet exacting aerospace standards.

What you'll be doing

• Apply coatings rapidly and precisely to fabricated parts while maintaining strict safety and quality controls.
• Load/unload components from booths, drying racks, and related equipment.
• Clean, degrease, and otherwise prepare parts before and after painting.
• Mask to specification using blueprints, travelers, and written instructions.
• Stage items for downstream processing, inspection, or packaging.
• Visually and dimensionally verify finish quality against standards.
• Start and monitor paint equipment and auxiliary systems.
• Operate paint tools/instruments safely and accurately; assist teammates as needed.
• Maintain a tidy work area; clean tools and equipment after use.
• Follow all procedures for safe storage and handling of materials.

Schedule

Second shift, five days per week, 8-hour shifts: 2:00 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.

What you bring

• High school diploma or GED.
• Hands-on industrial or automotive painting background.
• Ability to inspect work effectively and consistently.
• Comfort with basic math for mixing, measuring, and recording.
• Fluent spoken and written English.
• Uncompromising integrity and commitment to safety.
