Shift: 4th shift, Monday-Friday 7:00am-7:00pmUnion: This position is represented by Local 475.Starting Rate: $32.31/hrTraining: New hires must be available to train on 1st shift, Monday-Friday, 7:00a-3:00p for a minimum of 90 days before transitioning to their regularly assigned shift.
What You'll Be Doing
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment and facility systemsPerform preventative maintenance on machinery, pumps, furnaces, vacuum systems, and related equipmentComplete equipment overhauls, repairs, inspections, and daily maintenance checksDiagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and HVAC system issuesMaintain and repair plumbing, dust collection, and building systemsSupport heat treat equipment operation, maintenance, and repairsPerform welding and brazing repairs as neededRead and work from sketches, schematics, and equipment printsOperate forklifts, scissor lifts, and other maintenance equipment as requiredSupport Lean and continuous improvement initiativesMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work environmentFollow all quality, safety, environmental, and company standards
What We're Looking For
Experience performing industrial maintenance in a manufacturing environmentAbility to troubleshoot equipment with minimal supervisionAbility to read and interpret schematics, sketches, and technical drawingsWorking knowledge of:
Plumbing systemsHVAC systemsElectrical power and controlsGas furnaces and heat-treat equipmentVacuum systemsDust collection systemsCarpentry and painting
Welding and brazing experienceUnderstanding of industrial equipment maintenance and repair principlesForklift experience preferredComfortable operating a scissor liftStrong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamReliable attendance and punctualityHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredAbility to read, write, speak, and understand English
Nice to Have
Experience maintaining heat-treat or vacuum furnace equipmentIndustrial electrical troubleshooting experienceManufacturing maintenance certifications or vocational trainingExperience in aerospace or precision manufacturing environments
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
Manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, moving equipment, noise, fumes, and varying temperaturesFrequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crouching, climbing, and reaching throughout the shiftAbility to regularly lift and move materials up to 30 poundsAbility to safely operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and other maintenance equipmentRequired use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
