Aerospace Materials Quality Inspection Technologist

Location: Goodyear, AZ

A day in this role

Start your shift on our Goodyear, AZ team by reviewing production priorities and supplier Certificates of Analysis (COA). You’ll perform first-piece checks, then rotate through in-process and final inspections on premium optical acrylic sheet used in high-performance aerospace applications such as fighter jet canopies and aircraft windows. Throughout the day, you’ll verify incoming materials, measure critical dimensions with calipers, micrometers, depth gauges, and other precision tools, and log every result within our quality management system.

When something drifts from spec, you’ll document the discrepancy, open nonconformance reports, and collaborate with production to drive corrective actions. You’ll analyze inspection data, prepare management-ready quality summaries, and keep gauges and inspection equipment calibrated and in top condition. Other duties may be assigned as production needs evolve.
