Affordable Housing Attorney - LIHTC

Our client is a reputable law firm based in New York, NY, dedicated to providing top-notch legal services in real estate and affordable housing. We are currently seeking a skilled LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) Attorney with a minimum of 3 years of experience to join our dynamic team and contribute to our mission of fostering affordable housing initiatives.

The ideal candidates will possess a strong understanding of LIHTC regulations, tax incentives, and real estate transactions, along with a demonstrated ability to navigate complex legal landscapes. Compensation is BOE. Candidates with 3-15+ years' experience will be considered for either associate or partner-level roles. No book of business required. 

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in the New York State Bar.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience representing developers in Affordable Housing and LIHTC transactions required. 
• In-depth knowledge of LIHTC regulations, tax laws, and real estate transactions.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
