Schedule & Shift DetailsHours: 3:00 PM 5:00 PM (After-school shift)Status: Per-Diem / On-Call While this is a per-diem position, preference will be given to candidates who can commit to a set, consistent schedule.Start Date: 2026-2027 School Year ?? Pay RateCurrent High School Students: $16.94 / hourHigh School Diploma or GED Equivalent: $18.20 / hour ?? What You'll DoWorking under the supervision of the Center Director, you'll help create a fun, safe, and positive environment for preschool and school-age children.Engage & Assist: Help lead age-appropriate activities, arts and crafts, and outdoor play.Support Learning: Provide general classroom support and one-on-one attention to children.Maintain Safety: Assist with daily after-school routines and ensure a safe, inclusive environment.Build Experience: Get practical, real-world experience working in a dynamic public school setting! ?? QualificationsMust be a current high school student (16 years or older) OR hold a High School Diploma / GED.Experience working or volunteering with young children (babysitting, camp counselor, etc.) is a plus!Strong communication skills and a positive, dynamic attitude.Ability to work well in a team environment.Physical Requirements: Able to actively engage with kids (sitting on the floor, standing, and lifting up to 30 lbs).(Optional) ParaPro Test or 60+ college credits preferred for non-student applicants. ??
