About the Role: The Wonder Years Learning Center in Wilmington, MA is looking for a nurturing and passionate Afternoon Infant Teacher or Assistant Teacher to join their team! Responsibilities:
Provide attentive, hands-on care for infants in a safe and nurturing classroom environment
Support daily infant routines including feeding, diapering, napping, and sensory play
Implement age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, and physical development
Communicate daily updates and milestones to parents and guardians
Maintain a clean, organized, and developmentally stimulating classroom
Collaborate with lead teachers and staff to support individualized infant care plans
Follow all licensing, health, and safety regulations for infant care
Requirements:
Experience working with infants in a childcare, daycare, or early education setting preferred
Early Childhood Education (ECE) coursework or degree is a plus
Warm, patient, and nurturing demeanor with a genuine love for infant care
Ability to work afternoon hours reliably and consistently
Strong communication skills with both children and parents
Current or willingness to obtain CPR and First Aid certification
Must pass required background checks per Massachusetts childcare licensing standards
