Ag Freight Brokerage Manager - Remote + Bonus

gpac is working with an established agriculture company that's growing its logistics team. They're hiring a remote freight brokerage manager to bring in new customers and grow freight revenue. Agriculture industry experience is required for this role.

What you'll do:

- Prospect and land new shipping customers in the ag and commodity space

- Grow existing accounts and keep customers coming back

- Build and keep up a dependable carrier base

- Quote freight, negotiate rates and protect margins

- Partner with the internal operations team to keep loads moving

What they're looking for:

- Required: hands-on agriculture industry experience (grain, feed, agronomy, ag commodities or ag freight)

- Experience in freight sales, brokerage or logistics

- Experience moving freight on hopper bottoms, plus dry van, end dump, pneumatic, walking floor and flatbed trailers

- A history of growing a customer base

- Good negotiation and relationship skills

- Self-starter who does well working remote

Pay and benefits:

- $70K-$95K base, depending on experience

- Bonus tied to performance

- Remote
