Ag Lender

A community bank in Rock Rapids is confidentially seeking an Ag Lender to serve corn, soybean, cattle, and hog producers across Lyon County and northwest Iowa. The role covers new business, financial analysis, structuring, closing, and servicing of ag loans.

Responsibilities:

• Grow the farm loan portfolio by calling on producers and ag businesses
• Work through balance sheets, earnings, and cash flow for each operation
• Structure operating lines and livestock, machinery, and farmland loans
• Handle farm visits, collateral inspections, and annual renewals
• Bring deposit and cash management services to ag customers
• Use FSA guaranteed and direct programs when they fit the borrower

Qualifications:

• Degree in Ag Business, Animal Science, or Finance is preferred
• Hands-on experience in ag lending, ag credit, or farm management
• Understanding of row crop and livestock production
• Able to build trust with farm families over the long term
• Organized and self-directed
