#WeAreHiring: Agricultural Loan Officer (early level or trainee)

Are you passionate about agriculture and finance? Our client, a respected community bank focused on long-term client partnerships, is seeking a motivated Ag Loan Officer to join their team. This role offers a unique chance to grow a portfolio of agricultural and commercial lending relationships while working in a supportive, relationship-driven environment.

What You’ll Do:
- Build and grow relationships with agricultural producers and agribusiness clients through networking and community involvement.
- Analyze financial statements, tax returns, and production history to structure tailored lending solutions including operating lines, equipment, livestock, and real estate loans.
- Monitor loan portfolio performance ensuring quality and compliance.
- Represent the bank at community and agricultural events to strengthen market presence.
- Collaborate with credit teams to ensure sound loan approvals and documentation.

Who You Are:
- Experienced or eager to develop in ag/commercial lending with strong financial analysis skills.
- Knowledgeable about agricultural production cycles and credit fundamentals.
- Self-starter with excellent client communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but passion for agriculture and community ties can open doors—our client is willing to train the right candidate with ag knowledge.

Compensation & Benefits:
- $60,000 to $100,000/year, full-time, of course, this is depending on experience. Entry level will be toward the first number.
