Location: Scottsbluff, Nebraska
Pay: $30–$50+ per hour, depending on experience

About the Opportunity

gpac is partnering with an established equipment dealership to recruit an experienced Field Service Technician in the Scottsbluff, Nebraska area. This is an excellent opportunity for a mechanically skilled technician who enjoys troubleshooting equipment, performing field repairs, and helping customers minimize downtime.

The ideal candidate has experience diagnosing and repairing agricultural or heavy equipment and is comfortable working independently in a field service environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair agricultural and heavy equipment in the field

• Perform mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical repairs

• Complete preventative maintenance and equipment inspections

• Respond to service calls and help customers minimize equipment downtime

• Identify equipment issues and recommend appropriate repairs

• Maintain accurate service records and repair documentation

• Communicate professionally with customers and service team members

• Follow safety procedures and manufacturer service guidelines

Qualifications

• Experience as an agricultural equipment mechanic, heavy equipment technician, diesel technician, or field service technician

• Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems

• Ability to diagnose equipment issues and perform repairs efficiently

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and manage service calls

• Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record

• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset
