Aggregate Equipment Operator

Key responsibilities:

- Operate heavy equipment including loaders, crushers, screeners, and haul trucks at aggregate production sites.

- Feed raw material into crushing and screening equipment safely and efficiently.- Monitor material flow, adjust machine settings, and ensure final product meets quality standards.- Perform pre-shift inspections, routine equipment maintenance, and report mechanical issues.- Work in close coordination with plant supervisors, truck drivers, and ground personnel.- Follow strict safety protocols, company policies, and environmental regulations.- Assist with general labor tasks such as shoveling, cleanup, and equipment adjustments as needed.

Desired Qualifications:- 1+ year of experience operating heavy equipment, preferably in an aggregate or mining environment.- Familiarity with loaders, crushers, or screeners preferred.- Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues.- Commitment to safety and environmental compliance.- Ability to work independently or as part of a production team.- Valid driver’s license required; equipment certifications are a plus.- High school diploma or GED preferred.             

Physical & Mental Demands:- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks.- Ability to work outdoors in extreme weather and dusty conditions.- Long periods of standing, walking, climbing on equipment, and operating machinery.- Requires strong focus and situational awareness in high-noise, high-traffic environments.
