We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced, and results-driven Aggregate Sales Representative who knows how to identify opportunities, build lasting relationships, and close deals.

This is a business development position for someone who actively pursues new opportunities—not someone who waits for leads to come in.

The ideal candidate has experience in construction, trucking, hauling, aggregates, excavation, site development, heavy equipment, or a closely related industry and understands how to turn industry relationships into long-term, revenue-generating accounts.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, prospect, and secure new customers and business opportunities throughout East Tennessee.

• Develop and execute sales strategies to increase revenue and expand market presence.

• Establish strong relationships with contractors, developers, estimators, project managers, municipalities, and other industry decision-makers.

• Promote aggregate hauling, trucking, and additional company services to prospective customers.

• Conduct regular customer meetings, jobsite visits, and in-person business development activities.

• Generate leads, prepare and follow up on opportunities, negotiate, and close sales.

• Maintain and strengthen existing customer relationships to encourage repeat business.

• Collaborate with operations and management to develop competitive solutions that meet customer needs.

• Maintain an active sales pipeline and consistently follow opportunities through completion.

• Monitor local construction activity, upcoming projects, competitors, and emerging market opportunities.

• Track sales activities, customer interactions, and performance results.

• Represent Claiborne Hauling professionally while building a strong presence throughout the local construction industry.

Qualifications & Experience

• Industry experience in construction, trucking, hauling, aggregates, excavation, site development, heavy equipment, or a related field is required.

• Proven success in outside sales, business development, or account management.

• Demonstrated ability to generate new business, develop accounts, and increase revenue.

• Strong prospecting, negotiation, communication, and closing skills.

• Established relationships within the Knoxville or East Tennessee construction market are highly desirable.

• Self-motivated, competitive, organized, and results-oriented.

• Confident communicating with business owners, executives, contractors, and field personnel.

• Ability to manage multiple accounts, prioritize opportunities, and maintain consistent follow-up.

• Comfortable conducting in-person sales calls, visiting jobsites, and attending networking events.

• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally.
