    Job Description

    Position Summary:

Build the practice. Lead the work. Improve delivery.

This is a hands-on delivery leadership role. You will work directly with teams, lead Agile events, surface delivery barriers, and help teams turn priorities into delivered outcomes.

Help build the Agility practice within the Agile Center of Excellence (COE), part of Strategic Operations in the Intelligent Devices (ITD) High Performance Organization. You will work across a global product-development organization where business units have different products, operating models, and levels of Agile.

This role goes beyond advising teams or promoting Agile concepts. You will balance direct involvement in delivery with capability building so teams become stronger over time.

You Will Thrive Here If You...

    • Prefer working alongside teams and know when to coach, facilitate, or step in to help move delivery forward.
    • Can facilitate a difficult planning session, retrospective, dependency discussion, or decision-making conversation.
    • Can improve the broader delivery system while helping a team solve an immediate problem.
    • Bring practical structure without unnecessary bureaucracy and consistency without eliminating flexibility.

    Your Responsibilities:

    • Hands-on delivery support - Partner directly with teams and programs to improve planning, execution, flow, and delivery outcomes.
    • Agile rituals and planning events - Lead or co-lead stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint or iteration planning, reviews, retrospectives, release planning, Scrum of Scrums, and PI Planning when support is needed.
    • Executable plans - Help teams clarify priorities, prepare work, identify dependencies, sequence delivery and set realistic commitments.
    • Barrier removal - Work with product, engineering, and business partners to surface blockers, resolve cross-team dependencies, and drive needed decisions or escalation.
    • Critical delivery leadership - Provide focused, time-bound leadership during major planning events, delivery challenges, transitions, or temporary capability gaps.
    • Coaching in the work - Coach leaders, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and teams during active planning and delivery, demonstrating effective practices in real situations.
    • Practical standards, frameworks, and tools - Create strategies, templates, working agreements, measures, and training that help teams apply Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe effectively.
    • COE service model - Define clear Agile offerings, intake, engagement approaches, and measures of value so business units know when and how to engage the COE.
    • Sustainable capability - Develop local practitioners, support a Community of Practice, and transfer ownership so improvements continue after the engagement ends.

Success means measurable improvement in planning reliability, flow, coordination, and delivery outcomes that teams can sustain.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

    • Bachelor's Degree.
    • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
    • Ability to travel, including internationally, up to 10% of time.

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

    • Typically requires 8+ years of relevant experience leading Agile delivery, including senior experience as an RTE, Agile Program Manager, Scrum Master, or enterprise Agile coach.
    • Deep, hands-on experience applying Kanban, Scrum, and SAFe in hardware, firmware and software
    • Demonstrated experience personally facilitating Agile rituals, PI Planning, cross-team planning, and delivery recovery efforts
    • Experience coaching teams and advising senior leaders while remaining directly engaged in execution
    • Experience using flow and delivery measures to guide improvement
    • SAFe SPC or equivalent scaling certification
    • PMI-ACP, ICP-ACC, or comparable Agile or coaching certification
    • Experience building an Agile practice or COE from the ground up
    • Background in product development or engineering organizations
    • Experience with portfolio planning, dependency management, flow metrics, and change-management or communications partnership

    What We Offer:

    • Health Insurance including Medical, Dental and Vision
    • 401k
    • Paid Time off
    • Parental and Caregiver Leave
    • Flexible Work Schedule where you will work with your manager to enjoy a work schedule that can be flexible with your personal life.
