Agronomy Sales Representative

A well-established agricultural retailer is hiring an Agronomy Sales Representative to grow and look after grower relationships in the local trade area. You'll be the go-to agronomy advisor for row-crop farmers, recommending seed, fertilizer, and crop protection programs that improve their yields and bottom line.

What you'll do

- Build and grow a book of grower accounts through farm calls and field visits

- Recommend fertility, seed, and crop protection plans based on soil tests and scouting

- Scout fields in season and troubleshoot weed, insect, and disease problems

- Work with the location team on product delivery and custom application

- Hit sales and margin goals and track accounts in the CRM

What we're looking for

- 2+ years in agronomy sales, crop consulting, or a related ag field (new grads with ag degrees are welcome to apply)

- Bachelor's degree in agronomy, crop science, ag business, or related field preferred

- CCA certification and a state commercial applicator license are a plus

- Strong communication skills and a valid driver's license
