Our client, an investment firm, is seeking an AI Engineer to join their team in New York, NY!
This role is ideal for someone with strong software engineering fundamentals who has begun incorporating AI into modern application development.
Responsibilities-
Design, develop, and maintain AI-enabled software applications using Python.

Build new product features from design through deployment.

Collaborate with senior engineers on architecture and technical design decisions.

Integrate LLMs and AI services into production applications.

Help evaluate different AI models and implementation approaches based on business needs.

Build APIs and backend services that support AI workflows.
-
Contribute to light frontend development using React or similar JavaScript frameworks.

Write clean, maintainable, well-tested production code.
-
Participate in code reviews and continuously improve engineering best practices.

Assist with mentoring junior engineers as opportunities arise.
Required Qualifications:-
4-6 years of professional software engineering experience.

Strong Python development skills.

Experience building production software applications.

Exposure to AI application development using LLMs or modern AI APIs.

Understanding of prompt engineering, model selection, and responsible AI development practices.

Experience with React or another modern JavaScript framework is preferred.

Ability to work independently with light guidance.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:-
Experience building AI-powered features into production applications.

Experience working within enterprise software environments.

Exposure to cloud technologies and modern software architecture.

Interest in mentoring and helping other engineers grow.
