AI Governance Leader

Location: Dallas or Pittsburgh
Reports To: CEO

We are seeking an experienced AI Governance Leader to build and lead enterprise AI governance, compliance, security, and risk management initiatives across AI platforms, GenAI, and agentic AI systems. This role will partner with engineering, cybersecurity, legal, and business teams to ensure AI solutions are deployed responsibly, securely, and at scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and operationalize enterprise AI governance frameworks and policies
• Define governance standards for GenAI, AI copilots, autonomous agents, and AI-powered platforms
• Establish AI risk management, monitoring, audit, and compliance processes
• Implement AI security, observability, and human oversight controls
• Ensure compliance with NIST AI RMF, ISO 42001, GDPR, HIPAA, SOC2, and related regulations
• Support enterprise AI transformation initiatives and client advisory engagements

Required Qualifications

• 12+ years in AI governance, cybersecurity, enterprise technology, data governance, or risk management
• 5+ years leading enterprise AI, governance, security, or compliance programs
• Strong knowledge of:
  • Generative AI / LLMs
  • AI lifecycle management
  • AI governance and observability
  • AI security and compliance frameworks
• Experience in regulated industries such as Healthcare, BFSI, Manufacturing, or Public Sector preferred

Technical Experience

Experience with Azure AI, Microsoft Copilot, Databricks, Snowflake, MLOps, AI observability tools, data governance platforms, and AI security architectures preferred.
