The AI/ML Engineer will design, build, integrate, evaluate, and maintain artificial-intelligence and machine-learning capabilities supporting NATO operational and capability-development requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, train, test, and evaluate AI/ML solutions.
Build and integrate AI-enabled applications and services.
Support mission-relevant generative AI, NLP, predictive analytics, classification, optimization, and related use cases.
Establish repeatable model-development and evaluation processes.
Evaluate accuracy, reliability, security, bias, and operational suitability.
Develop APIs, pipelines, and integration mechanisms.
Support model deployment, monitoring, configuration, and lifecycle management.
Work with data scientists, architects, engineers, cybersecurity specialists, and operational users.
Document assumptions, limitations, risks, and performance results.
Apply responsible and secure AI-engineering principles.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, Data Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
5+ years of software, data, or AI engineering experience, including demonstrated ML/AI development.
Strong Python skills.
Experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, or equivalent ML frameworks.
Understanding of model development, validation, deployment, and monitoring.
Experience integrating AI into operational applications.
Required citizenship and security clearance.
