About the Role:
Independence Home Health LLC is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Aide/CNA to join our caring team in Bloominton, IN. Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene support
- Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation to ensure safety and comfort
- Monitor and document patient health status, reporting changes to supervising nursing staff
- Support clients with meal preparation, feeding assistance, and nutritional monitoring
- Perform light housekeeping and maintain a clean, safe home environment for patients
- Administer compassionate companionship and emotional support to patients and families
- Follow individualized care plans and adhere to all home health care protocols
Requirements:
- Current CNA certification or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification preferred
- Previous experience in home health, long-term care, or a related healthcare setting
- Strong understanding of patient care, safety procedures, and infection control
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license to travel to patient homes
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate, patient-centered demeanor
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a home environment
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
