Tek Group Inc. (Aerospace Division) is currently
seeking highly skilled Aircraft Assembly Structures Mechanic candidates for one
of its clients in North Charleston, South Carolina. Our client is a recognized
aviation, aerospace, airline, manufacturing, or MRO organization supporting
aircraft maintenance, repair, overhaul, production, line maintenance, and/or
airworthiness operations.

Job
Overview: We are hiring Aircraft Assembly
Structures Mechanics to support commercial aircraft production and structural
assembly work in a high-quality manufacturing environment. The role involves
interpreting drawings and technical work instructions, using hand and power
tools, completing assigned structural tasks, and ensuring defect-free work in
accordance with safety, quality, and production standards.
Responsibilities:
- Perform
aircraft structural assembly, installation, repair, rework, and inspection
support in accordance with approved work instructions.
- Read and
interpret blueprints, drawings, electronic technical work instructions,
specifications, and production documentation.
- Use hand
tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, diagnostic equipment, and mechanical lifts
safely.
- Apply
sealants, primers, coatings, adhesives, and other approved materials as
required by the task.
- Inspect own
work quality, control FOD, and maintain compliance with safety and regulatory
standards.
- Support
production schedules while maintaining quality, documentation accuracy, and
procedure compliance.
- Work closely
with manufacturing, quality, engineering, and team leadership to resolve
production issues.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year
of experience in a manufacturing, technical, mechanical, aircraft maintenance,
or equivalent military environment preferred.
- Ability to
read and understand drawings, blueprints, specifications, and detailed written
work instructions in English.
- Experience
using hand, power, and/or pneumatic tools.
- Ability to
work variable shifts based on business needs.
- Ability to
meet physical requirements including standing, climbing, crawling, kneeling,
bending, overhead reaching, and lifting/carrying as required.
- Ability to
complete required training, certifications, and assessments.
- Composite or
aircraft production experience preferred.
