Aircraft Maintenance Technician

VARIOUS LOCATIONS!!

The Fountain Group is currently seeking Aircraft Technicians for a prominent client of ours. There are multiple positions open in the following locations:

• California $35 - $45/hr 
• Maxwell AFB, AL - $40 - $45/hr 
• San Antonio, TX - $35 - $43/hr
• Various locations expected to become available

Job Description:

• $25-$42/HR (depending on location/years of experience).
• 12-month assignments (with possibility to extend based on performance and budget).
• Various skillsets needed (electrical, structural, fuel tank sealer, interior specialists, systems assembly and testing)
• General responsibilities include:
• Assemble, disassemble, and/or modify systems by changing, removing, replacing, or upgrading aerospace vehicle components to correct failures or implement changes
• Oversees assembly, disassembly, or overhaul
• Configures aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment
• Troubleshoots complex pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components
• Performs validation/verification testing of systems and components
• Documents procedures and established processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance (e.g., repairs, test results, applicable modifications, and inspection results)
• Inspects components and verifies repairs for flight worthiness requirements.

Qualifications:

• HS Diploma or GED is required.
• aircraft repair/maintenance/assembly experience is required (depending on location they may require more) Open to aerospace academic program graduates.
• Some positions are open to automotive/structural/electrical background with no aerospace experience.
• Positions require a US Person due to export compliance regulations.
• Some positions require an active secret clearance.
• Some positions require an A&P license
