Aircraft Sheet Metal & Structural Fabricator

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Sheet Metal & Structural Fabricator who thrives on high precision and shop-floor independence. You will fabricate, form, and assemble critical airframe structures for custom aircraft projects with true autonomy.

What You’ll Do

• Precision Fabrication: Interpret blueprints, mold lines, and FAA specs to cut, bend, and shape sheet metal components.

• Tool Operation: Operate press brakes, shears, rollers, shrinker-stretchers, and precision measuring tools down to thousandths of an inch.

• Assembly: Execute structural riveting (flush, universal, blind), countersinking, and fastening.

• Process Ownership: Maintain workstation efficiency and suggest continuous workflow improvements.

• Quality Control: Perform self-inspections on tolerances, deburring, and grain structures.

What You Bring

• 3+ years of sheet metal fabrication experience (aerospace/precision metalworking preferred).

• Strong blueprint reading, geometric dimensioning, and shop math skills.

• Hands-on expertise with aircraft skin forming, layout, and riveting.

• A self-directed, quality-focused mindset.
