Position Summary Davcor Aviation Services is seeking three experienced Aircraft Structures Technicians to support a long-term aircraft modification and connectivity installation project in Everett, WA. This opportunity is ideal for skilled aviation professionals with hands-on experience performing aircraft structural modifications, sheet metal repairs, and installations associated with aircraft communication and connectivity systems. Qualified candidates must have 35 years of aircraft structures modification experience, preferably with direct involvement in antenna installations, SATCOM modifications, aircraft Wi-Fi installations, or comparable aircraft connectivity programs. Candidates with strong aircraft sheet metal and structural modification backgrounds who have supported similar antenna or connectivity installations may also be considered. These positions offer long-term contract opportunities with an anticipated project duration of 2+ years and an immediate need for qualified technicians. Key Responsibilities Perform aircraft structural modifications, repairs, and installations in support of aircraft connectivity and avionics upgrade programs. Support aircraft antenna installations, SATCOM modifications, Wi-Fi system installations, and related structural modifications. Perform aircraft sheet metal fabrication, drilling, cutting, fitting, riveting, and structural assembly work. Modify aircraft structures to accommodate antenna mounting assemblies, communication equipment, and associated connectivity components. Install structural reinforcements, brackets, doublers, and mounting hardware in accordance with approved engineering documentation. Read and interpret aircraft structural repair manuals (SRMs), engineering drawings, blueprints, modification instructions, and technical documentation. Perform precision measurements, layout, and fabrication to ensure proper alignment and installation of structural components. Remove, replace, repair, and modify aircraft structural components as required by project specifications. Collaborate with avionics technicians, engineering personnel, and quality teams to support successful aircraft connectivity installations. Inspect completed structural modifications for workmanship, accuracy, and compliance with applicable maintenance standards. Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation for completed work. Follow all company safety procedures, FAA regulations, and established aircraft maintenance and quality standards. Qualifications & Requirements 35 years of hands-on aircraft structures modification experience required. Strong background in aircraft sheet metal fabrication, structural repairs, and aircraft modification work. Experience performing structural modifications on commercial or comparable aircraft. Ability to read and interpret aircraft structural drawings, blueprints, SRMs, engineering instructions, and technical documentation. Proficiency with aircraft sheet metal tools, precision measuring equipment, drilling, riveting, fastening, and structural assembly techniques. Knowledge of aircraft structural components, materials, fasteners, and approved repair and modification procedures. Ability to perform structural modifications accurately while maintaining aircraft integrity and safety. Experience working in an aircraft maintenance, repair, overhaul (MRO), or aircraft modification environment. Strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced aircraft maintenance environment. Ability to meet the requirements of an FAA-regulated, safety-sensitive work environment. Preferred Experience Previous hands-on involvement with aircraft antenna installations, SATCOM modifications, aircraft Wi-Fi installations, or comparable connectivity modification programs. Experience performing structural modifications to support aircraft communication and connectivity system upgrades. Familiarity with antenna mounting structures, aircraft skin modifications, structural reinforcements, and associated installation requirements. Experience supporting aircraft retrofit programs, avionics modifications, or commercial aircraft connectivity upgrades. Experience working alongside avionics teams during aircraft modification and installation projects. Background in commercial aircraft MRO, heavy maintenance, or aircraft modification programs.
