Presidio is seeking an Akamai Engineer (Automation & Edge Platform) to join our team in Plano, TX, Charlotte, NC, or Malvern, PA. This is a hybrid position requiring three days on-site per week.Required QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent experience)3–5+ years of experience in network engineering, DevOps, or platform engineeringExperience with:Scripting or programming (Python, Terraform, or similar) CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar)API-based automationHands-on experience with CDN, edge, or application delivery platforms (Akamai preferred)Preferred QualificationsExperience with:Akamai Property Manager, Edge DNS, or security services (WAF, DDoS, Bot Management)Policy-driven automation (e.g., validation checks, guardrails)DNS and certificate lifecycle managementFamiliarity with Agile delivery models and enterprise change management processesDay to Day Responsibilities:Akamai Platform EngineeringAutomation & Workflow EnablementOperational Support & ReliabilityCollaboration & Cross-Team EnablementContinuous Improvement & Innovation
