ALLERGY TECH Southern Indiana ENT is seeking a compassionate and organized Allergy Tech with previous experience administering allergy testing and shots. This is a full-time position and requires travel between all locations, Columbus, Franklin, Greenwood, and Seymour. This position is Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM. This role will report to the Practice Administrator. The salary range is $20-$22hr. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESAdministering allergy tests, skin tests, and pulmonary function tests.Assist Physicians, Mid-Level Practitioners, and Registered Nurses with the evaluation, management, and treatment of patients in an ambulatory care setting.Maintain patient flow, the upkeep of exam and treatment rooms, and performing basic skills such as vital signs and point of care testing.Educate patients on allergy management and prevention.Call and schedule patients' appointments and verify insurance.Over time cross train in all specialties and ancillary services including ENT, Sleep, Allergy, CT, and Triage.Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 30 pounds.Other duties as assigned.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSHigh School diploma or GED equivalentCurrent CPR Certification requiredGraduate of a Medical Assistant Program preferredLPN Certification preferredMinimum of two years clinical experience preferredAbility to work in a high stress, fast paced environment SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITYThis position has no supervisory responsibility.
