The Goddard School in Chagrin Falls, Ohio has an opening for both a part-time and fulltime preschool teacher.
Prospective applicants should be nurturing, energetic, highly motivated, and a solid communicator. We provide care and education for infants, toddlers, preschool, pre-kindergarten, and school age children.
Our school has a total full-time faculty size of around 24, three directors, and an On-site Owner. Should you join our team, you will be supported, appreciated, and empowered to be the best teacher for our children and families.

Experience in early childhood education, childcare (child care), daycare (day care), teaching, nannying, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), elementary education, etc. apply well to working in our school.
Goddard’s renowned program is play-oriented and focuses on developing a life-long love of learning in our students. You will join a staff comprised of skilled, loving and dedicated teachers focusing on each child’s needs. Our highly qualified educators are encouraged to use their creativity using the Ohio Early Learning Content Standards for unique lesson plans that are brought to life in a fun and imaginative way, both indoors and outdoors in our new state of the art Outdoor Learning Center.

Assistant Teacher Educational Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years childcare or college coursework in Early Childhood Education
- High School Diploma
Job Responsibilities include:
- Implementing lesson plan activities that are appropriate to the child’s age and developmental level.
- Meeting the individual needs of children.
- Parent communication.
- Participation in staff and training meetings.
- Interacting with the children to support play, exploration, and learning.
- Presenting expectations that are appropriate to the child’s age and developmental level.
- Supporting a team environment.
- Using assessment tools.
- Committing to continuing education.
- Having fun while working.

The Goddard School provides the foundation to encourage a child's lifelong love of learning .In our warm, caring atmosphere, dedicated teachers support the development of children from 6 weeks to 8 years old. Our year round program offers families the choice of either half day or full day schedule.
We are delighted to be the on-site owners of The Goddard School on Theodore Street in Plainfield.
