AmeriCorps Project Learn II
The Boys & Girls Club of Livingston County has 18 member positions available: 2 Half-Time 900 hours; 6 Reduced Half-Time 675 hours; 4 Quarter-Time 450 hours; 6 Minimum Time 300 hours available. AmeriCorps members who will conduct evidence-based academic enrichment support to youth at the end of the program year. The AmeriCorps members will be responsible for improved academic engagement for 200 youth ages 5-13 as defined by factors to include school & club attendance, school connectedness & expectations of academic success. AmeriCorps members will be involved in providing logistical support in mentoring, tutoring, activity delivery, STEM programs and summer learning loss prevention. Member Duties : Engage and mentor children ages 5-13 in programs to expand their knowledge, productivity, and encourage caring and responsible citizens.
