The AmeriCorps VISTA member will focus on capacity-building activities that strengthen the sustainability and effectiveness of the Pamela Parker Community Outreach Health Clinic. The VISTA will review, organize, and update clinic and volunteer policies and procedures and support the development of training and reference materials. The member will assist in developing systems to collect and analyze patient and service data to identify gaps, trends, and populations with unmet needs. The VISTA will strengthen communication and tracking processes related to health monitoring and education initiatives by creating tools and workflows that support coordination among staff and volunteers. The member will also assist in developing systems to support recruitment, onboarding, training, and engagement of student and professional volunteers. Through documentation, resource development, and process improvement, the VISTA will enhance clinic infrastructure and long-term organizational capacity.
