Charge Master maintenance is vital to the survival of any healthcare system in todays environment. Any flaws or failures in the Charge Master must be eliminated by constant review and maintenance to ensure federal compliance and proper reimbursement. This individual will be a vital link between our charge description master, clinical services, and the financial integrity of our system.We are currently seeking an individual to join our team who is passionate about accuracy and organization. Key responsibilities may include: Maintain and update the Charge Description Master across all facilities Ensure CPT/HCPCS, revenue codes, and pricing structures align with regulatory and payer requirements Work in conjunction with clinical departments to review services and supplies to make timely CDM additions or revisions Analyze charging issues that might arise Assist in education and communication of CDM changes to clinical departments Qualifications: Demonstrateseffectiveskillsinorganization, attention to detail, and coordinationin management. Abilitytoexerciseindependentjudgmentincompletionofjobresponsibilities. Basic understanding of CPT/HCPCS coding, billing rules, and regulatory standards. Three(3)yearsof healthcareexperiencerequired.
