Analyst

A highly specialized investment firm is seeking an Investment Analyst to join its lean, high-performing team focused on a differentiated litigation finance strategy-providing capital to law firms to fund legal case portfolios, with investments backed by underlying litigation outcomes. This is a direct investing role offering exposure to a unique, non-traditional asset class at the intersection of private credit and legal finance.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and underwrite litigation finance opportunities, including analysis of legal case portfolios
• Conduct due diligence on law firms, case pipelines, and associated risk factors
• Support investment structuring and execution
• Monitor portfolio performance and underlying case progress
• Contribute to broader investment strategy and portfolio construction

Candidate Profile

• 6+ years of relevant experience (investment, private credit, or adjacent analytical roles)
• Prior investing experience preferred, though non-traditional backgrounds will be considered
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skill set
• Interest in complex, non-traditional asset classes
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a lean, fast-paced environment
• J.D. strongly preferred but not required
