There are currently 5 employees at this organization. The new hire will be number 2 on the M&A team
The company is owned by Ares (300 bil PE firm). Cole was hired to build out this practice and it seems he has a lot of compensation that will materialize in that 5 year period mark.
The company: a) acquires other 1-10 person cardiology practices, b) takes care of the running of the business, c) charges a management fee of 30% I believe, d) offers these practices equity in the company, e) purchases a stalk in the revenue of these practices using MSO model (https://www.physicianspractice.com/view/understanding-management-services-organizations-msos)
The role will entail a lot of financial analysis, financial modeling, erm data and looking at big data sets. Someone with strong excel skills is key
Profiles they will hire are a big 4 deals person, valuations backgrounds, other IB profiles, etc. He's very open, he described it as another Jake Kimpler type person.
They are looking to build a national platform
Anyone with industry experience is a big plus and not at all required at this level
