Company Summary:

Selby Jennings is partnering with a middle-market investment bank in Houston, TX that is looking to add an Investment Banking Analyst to its growing team. The firm advises clients on M&A transactions and capital raising engagements across a variety of industries and offers analysts significant exposure to live deals, senior bankers, and client interaction in a lean team environment.

The Investment Banking Analyst will be responsible for:

• Supporting the execution of M&A and capital raising transactions from start to finish.
• Preparing financial models, valuation analyses, pitch books, CIMs, and other transaction materials.
• Assisting in the coordination of due diligence processes and managing transaction workflows.
• Conducting industry, market, and company-specific research.
• Working directly with senior bankers and client management teams throughout live engagements.
• Preparing and delivering presentations to clients, investors, and other transaction participants.

The Investment Banking Analyst should have the following qualifications:

• 1-3 years of Investment Banking experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• Strong financial modeling and valuation experience.
• Experience supporting closed M&A transactions.
• Excellent quantitative, analytical, and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Compensation:

• Base Salary: $72,000
• Competitive benefits package
