Position Summary We are seeking a Program/Project Analyst to support the Meter Panel Upgrade (MPU) process for Southern California Edison. The ideal candidate will have experience in solar, utility, construction, electrical, telecom, or project coordination, with strong skills in scheduling, stakeholder coordination, inspections, and project tracking. The candidate will support both the Covina and Ontario districts while being physically based at the Covina Service Center. No travel between districts is expected. Key Responsibilities
Support the end-to-end Meter Panel Upgrade (MPU) process.
Schedule, confirm, and reschedule customer appointments.
Coordinate with customers, cities/agencies, contractors, and internal stakeholders regarding inspections and MPU activities.
Track and maintain project information using internal systems.
Monitor project status, appointments, inspections, and related activities.
Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure MPU activities progress according to established processes.
Support city inspection requirements and the re-energization process.
Use Microsoft Office Suite, particularly:
Microsoft Excel
SharePoint
Microsoft Teams
Communicate primarily through internal systems and email, with limited phone interaction when customer appointment changes or rescheduling are required.
Follow established Edison processes, procedures, acronyms, and MPU workflows.
Preferred Qualifications Strong candidates will have experience in one or more of the following areas:
Solar industry, particularly solar scheduling or panel upgrade coordination.
Meter Panel Upgrade (MPU) processes.
Construction coordination.
Utility operations or project support.
Electrical projects or electrical contracting.
Telecom project coordination.
Project/program coordination.
Scheduling and appointment management.
Permitting and inspection coordination.
Main panel upgrades.
City/agency inspection requirements.
Stakeholder coordination involving customers, contractors, utilities, and government agencies.
Understanding of the re-energization process.
Key Responsibilities
Schedule and coordinate Main Panel Upgrade (MPU) disconnect/reconnect activities
Manage scheduling systems, documentation, and workflow tracking
Communicate with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders
Monitor CPUC timelines to ensure compliance
Prioritize and manage backlog effectively
Ensure adherence to MPU processes and procedures
Maintain accurate records and reporting
Support administrative, operational, and coordination functions
Required Qualifications
0–3 years of experience in:
Scheduling, coordination, operations, or administrative support
Data analysis using spreadsheets and database tools
