Job Description
Kforce has a client in Tampa, FL that is seeking an Analytics Engineer-Finance Systems.
Key Tasks:
- Build, maintain, and troubleshoot financial data pipelines and integrations
- Develop advanced SQL queries, data transformations, warehouse views, and reporting datasets
- Design and maintain Power BI dashboards, DAX calculations, and semantic models
- Identify and resolve data quality issues, reporting discrepancies, and failed integrations
- Support data integrations across NetSuite, Azure, and Workday Adaptive Planning
- Improve data governance, reporting consistency, metric standardization, and technical documentation
- Partner with Finance and IT teams to translate business needs into scalable reporting and analytics solutions
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of relevant experience
- 3+ years of experience in Analytics Engineering, Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, or a related technical role
- Strong Power BI experience with dashboards, DAX, and semantic models
- Hands-on experience building, maintaining, and troubleshooting ETL/ELT pipelines and integrations
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric or comparable cloud analytics platforms
- Experience with Azure databases or similar cloud data environments
- Experience validating data, troubleshooting integration failures, and resolving reporting discrepancies
- Experience integrating ERP, CRM, and other enterprise systems
- Oracle NetSuite experience, particularly financial data extraction and reporting integrations
- Workday Adaptive Planning experience
- Financial reporting, FP&A, or accounting systems experience
- Experience bringing third party-managed data integrations in-house
- Strong knowledge of relational data modeling, including fact tables, dimensions, and analytical datasets
- Knowledge of data governance, metric standardization, and technical documentation
- Advanced SQL skills, including complex queries, transformations, warehouse views, and query optimization
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across Finance, Accounting, and IT
- Ability to develop warehouse datasets supporting financial and operational reporting
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable reporting solutions
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
