Anesthesia Technician - Contract

Job Title: Anesthesia Technician
Duration: 13 Weeks
Location: 1000 Medical Center Boulevard, Lawrenceville, GA 30046
Department: 6570V – Open Heart Surgery
Schedule: Day Shift | Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:30 PM | 40 Hours/Week

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent experience as an Anesthesia Technician.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• AHA BLS certification required.

• Current registration as a Anesthesia Technician in the State of Georgia required.

• Certified Anesthesia Technologist (ASATT) required.

• Local candidates within 50 miles will not be considered.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up appropriate anesthesia equipment and supplies for each anesthetizing location.

• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of anesthesia equipment.

• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

• Monitor and maintain adequate inventory of supplies.

• Perform technical duties related to handling and delivering pharmaceuticals under the supervision of a pharmacist.

Holiday Requirements

Candidates must be available to work 2 of the 3 major winter holidays and 1 minor holiday.

• Day After Thanksgiving

• Christmas Eve

• New Year's Eve
