Position Overview

We are seeking a PRN/Per Diem Anesthesiologist to provide coverage at Mercy Medical Center Merced. This is an excellent opportunity for physicians seeking flexible scheduling and competitive compensation in a supportive clinical environment.

Position Details

• Position Type: PRN / Per Diem
• Employment Type: 1099 Independent Contractor
• Shift: 24-hour call shift (7:00 AM – 7:00 AM)
  • Housing will be covered
• Compensation: $5,200 per 24-hour shift
• Location: Merced

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care for scheduled and emergent procedures
• Perform pre-operative evaluations and post-anesthesia assessments
• Collaborate with surgeons, nursing staff, and hospital teams to ensure quality patient care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
• Active California medical license or ability to obtain
• DEA certification
• ACLS certification required
• Strong clinical and communication skills
