Drivers responsible for ensuring the safety of all passengers, including special education students, while operating the assigned van and for ensuring the assigned van is in a safe operating condition at all times.PayStarting pay is $20.50 per hour and can go up to $25.01 per hour pending experience.Eligible active-duty military members, veterans with an honorable discharge, National Guard and Reserve members, and military spouses may qualify for financial bonuses through Ohio's Military Veteran Educators Program. Eligible applicants must be hired into a full-time position at a participating Ohio public educational institution on or after July 1, 2023. Individuals who worked in any Ohio school before July 1, 2023, are not eligible. Eligible employees may receive a $3,000 bonus after completing one year of employment, increased to $5,000 for eligible school transportation positions.
