Job Details:
The Sales Porter/Lot Tech is responsible for managing the dealership lot, ensuring that the vehicle inventory is clean, well-organized, and properly displayed. The role involves moving cars, keeping the service showroom and lot neat, and assisting with vehicle preparations. Ideal candidates are proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a neat and orderly service showroom and sales lot by moving cars as directed by management and following dealership display standards.
- Keep inventory clean, properly displayed, and ensure vehicle information and disclaimers are visible.
- Catalog and store keys securely.
- Assist with vehicle preparation for delivery or show.
- Approach tasks proactively and with attention to detail.
- Ability to work outdoors and stand for extended periods.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- 3 to 6 months of related experience preferred.
- Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
- Capable of maneuvering vehicles safely in tight spaces.
- Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Basic computer and internet skills.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
