Position Title: AOA Guest Assistant

Work Schedule:Responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and customer-focused movement of passengers between aircraft, buses, and terminals within a secure airport environment. This role involves managing passenger flow, providing directions, and supporting airport operations during aircraft arrivals and departures. This role is well-suited for individuals with prior exposure to airport operations or secure-area environments, as it makes training more seamless. Candidates from airlines, TSA, or ground service providers typically adapt quickly due to familiarity with airfield procedures and passenger handling.
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:- Assist in controlling the flow of passengers during aircraft offloading and onboarding.
- Station at the aircraft or terminal areas to guide, direct, and monitor passengers.
- Count passengers accurately as they board or exit buses and aircraft.
- Hold or release passenger groups as needed to support safe bus rotations.
- Direct passengers safely between buses and terminal entrances during inbound and outbound operations.
- Maintain awareness of safety and security regulations within the secure AOA environment.
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring passengers feel supported, informed, and safe.
- De-escalate passenger concerns professionally and calmly.
- Collaborate with ground operations, airline staff, and transportation teams.

- Comfort working in a secure, fast-paced environment.
- Previous airport or airline experience.
- Experience with ground services providers (e.g., baggage handling crews, ramp agents).
- Roles involving secure-area operations, such as TSA or equivalent.
- Experience working on the airfield or in secure airport areas.
- Candidates with both customer service and airport experience are highly preferred due to the need to handle customer interactions and understand the airport security environment.
