Mid-Level Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable Specialist
A Mid-Level AP/AR Specialist supports the organization's financial health by ensuring timely, accurate processing of vendor payments and customer billings. This role maintains the integrity of cash flow, strengthens internal controls, and provides reliable financial data to the accounting team. The Specialist handles routine complexities, works cross-functionally, and contributes to efficient financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Payable
• Process vendor invoices, verify accuracy, and ensure proper general ledger coding. • Maintain vendor files, resolve discrepancies, and respond to inquiries professionally. • Prepare weekly payment batches (wires) and ensure compliance with approval workflows. • Reconcile AP aging, assist with month-end accruals, and support audit documentation.
Accounts Receivable
• Generate customer invoices based on agreements. • Apply customer payments accurately and maintain up-to-date AR aging schedules. • Monitor outstanding balances, perform routine collections outreach, and escalate issues when necessary. • Support cash-flow forecasting by providing timely AR updates and payment trend insights.

Qualifications
• 2–4 years of experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, or a combined AP/AR role. • Solid understanding of basic accounting principles. • Experience with ERP systems and electronic payment platforms – Oracle Fusion experience a plus. • Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through. • Ability to handle sensitive financial information with discretion.
