AP Specialist | Contract

An established organization in South Bend is seeking a Temporary Accounts Payable Specialist to support its accounting team. This assignment offers an immediate start and is expected to run through December, with the possibility of an extension into February.

This person will support daily AP operations while the team transitions from check payments to ACH and expands its use of Oracle Fusion Cloud.

Responsibilities

• Support daily accounts payable processing and payment activities.
• Help maintain accurate AP records and ensure payments are completed on time.
• Assist with a weekly payment volume of approximately 140 checks.
• Support the transition from check payments to ACH.
• Assist with testing and implementing additional AP functions within Oracle Fusion Cloud.
• Work closely with the accounting team to maintain coverage and keep work moving.

Qualifications

• Previous hands-on accounts payable experience.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
• Ability to work independently and communicate professionally.
• Comfortable learning accounting systems and adapting to process changes.
• Oracle Fusion Cloud experience is helpful but not required.
• A college degree is not required.
