Apache Kafka Administration

Pay Range: $60/hr - $65/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer Kafka platforms on-prem and in cloud
• Develop new services and enhancements
• Coach junior team members
• Provide client support
• Manage incidents and solutions engineering
• Develop Proofs-of-Concept
• Conduct code reviews

Key Requirements and Technology Experience: 

• 5+ years of experience in Kafka administration
• Proficiency with monitoring, alerting, and logging tools, preferably Dynatrace
• Experience with AWS
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD processes
• Familiarity with event-driven architecture
• Experience with Confluent Cloud/Platform administration
• Knowledge of Event Streaming (Kafka preferred)
• Familiarity with NoSQL DB (Mongo preferred)
