Apartment Groundskeeper / Package Handler / Entry Level Maintenance Tech
Location: Upscale Apartment Community - Englewood, Colorado Area
COMPENSATION: DOE $20-$22/hour - Weekly Pay
Schedule: Full Time, Monday - Friday - 8am-5pm each day
JOB SUMMARY:
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in custodial, grounds-keeping and or construction cleanup, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to creating a safe and enjoyable environment for residents.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform routine grounds-keeping tasks, watering plants, and maintaining flower beds.
- Ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance of sidewalks, parking areas, and common areas, including picking up trash, sweeping, and removing debris.
- Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify maintenance issues, safety hazards, and landscaping needs.
- Assist with the installation and upkeep of irrigation systems and outdoor lighting fixtures.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to address repair needs and maintain a well-functioning property.
- Maintain inventory of landscaping supplies and equipment and communicate restocking needs to management.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations, ensuring a secure and hazard-free environment for residents and staff.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in grounds-keeping or construction cleanup, with knowledge of sanitation and general outdoor maintenance.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently, managing time and priorities effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and an eye for maintaining a visually appealing landscape.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
