Position Overview
The Apartment Maintenance Technician will play a critical role in helping the property catch up on outstanding work orders while ensuring apartments and common areas are maintained to high standards. This role requires a hands-on professional who can work independently with minimal supervision and efficiently manage daily maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Complete and close maintenance work orders in a timely and professional manner
Perform general apartment maintenance including:
Plumbing repairs (leaks, fixtures, toilets, sinks)
Electrical troubleshooting (outlets, switches, lighting)
Appliance repair (refrigerators, ranges, dishwashers, washers/dryers)
HVAC troubleshooting and basic repairs
Drywall, painting, carpentry, and general repairs
Prepare units for move-ins and turnovers as needed
Maintain clean and safe work areas
Communicate clearly with property staff regarding work order status and priorities
