Position Overview
The Application Analyst III plays a vital role in advancing Harbor Care's mission and vision by training, supporting, configuring, optimizing, and enhancing enterprise applications while leading projects, providing reporting and analytics, and partnering with stakeholders to deliver effective technology solutions that improve business operations. This position is responsible for training and optimization, while ensuring that our services align with our philosophy of care and values of compassion, respect, collaboration, and transparency to create a positive impact on those we serve and the broader community. Additionally, this role contributes to organizational goals while supporting a culture aligned with our Employee Engagement Principles.

What You'll DoKey Responsibilities

What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications
3+ years in clinical informatics, healthcare IT or similar related work.
Working knowledge of an Electronic Health Record (EHR), Electronic Medical Record (EMR) or Practice Management Systems.
Excellent customer service skills.
Demonstrated mastery of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Experience collaborating with people from diverse populations.
Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with diverse populations
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years in clinical informatics or healthcare IT
In-depth working knowledge of the use, configuration and maintenance of the Athena Practice EMR/EHS application.
Knowledge of Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) rules, regulations and operations.
Working knowledge of SQL, other reporting tools.
An equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience, including military service, internships, volunteer work, and non-traditional career paths, may be considered in meeting position requirements.
Experience working within nonprofit, healthcare, behavioral health, housing, human services, or community-based settings
