Application Architect II

Introduction

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as an Application Architect II. The successful candidate will work in a dynamic trading environment, providing crucial support and development expertise. The role requires a blend of technical skills, industry knowledge, and the ability to work under pressure.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with electronic trading platforms is required.
• Knowledge of electronic trading systems.
• Integration protocol expertise, including debugging in production-like environments.
• Proficiency in C / C# / Java development.
• Prior work experience at client or in client's industry.
• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Knowledge of Futures and Bonds contracts.
• Understanding of global markets.
• Experience with Unix and Windows environments, leveraging Java for integration projects.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Level 3 Support of Low latency trading platform.
• Interact with traders and escalate issues with the trading platform vendor.
• Manage and govern applications, including the maintenance of trading feeds and implementing enterprise security mandates.
• Review application changes and conduct QA.
• Perform application tests for release validation.
