Kforce has a client that is seeking an Application Development Lead - SAP S/4HANA in Seattle, WA.
Summary:
The Application Development Lead will oversee custom development and build readiness in support of SAP GL, Consolidation, and Reporting workstreams. This role will lead the technical development approach for ABAP, Fiori, RICEFWX, integrations, and custom applications, ensuring proposed solutions are technically feasible and ready for development within the SAP S/4HANA and BTP environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead custom development build readiness across SAP GL, Consolidation, and Reporting workstreams
- Develop and maintain the initial inventory of RICEFW/RICEFWX custom development objects
- Review proposed technical solutions and workarounds to support build and release decisions
- Provide development expertise for Functional Design Specifications (FSDs) covering integrations, master data conversion objects, and outbound reporting integrations
- Ensure functional designs are technically buildable within the existing SAP S/4HANA and BTP landscape
- Scope and design custom ABAP transactions and SAP Fiori applications based on business and access-control requirements
- Partner with the Technical Lead on integration architecture and with functional leads on configuration and development requirements
- Coordinate with SAP Basis and Development resources to validate technical approaches, dependencies, and development effort
- Ensure custom development activities align with overall program design and implementation requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
- 8+ years of relevant SAP development experience
- Strong experience with SAP ABAP Development for HANA/ABAP for HANA
- Strong SAP Fiori development experience
- Extensive experience with RICEFW/RICEFWX development
- Strong experience working within SAP S/4HANA environments
- Experience with SAP BTP and SAP application development landscapes
- Experience designing and developing custom SAP transactions and applications
- Experience assessing custom development build readiness and technical feasibility
- Experience providing technical input into Functional Design Specifications (FSDs)
- Knowledge of SAP integrations, master data conversion, and outbound reporting integrations
- Ability to collaborate with SAP Basis, Development, Integration, and functional teams
- Experience supporting SAP GL, Consolidation, or Reporting workstreams is beneficial
- English proficiency
- Must be able to work on-site in Seattle, WA, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
