Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Technical Delivery Lead to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Service Virtualization (SmartBear ReadyAPI, WireMock), Java-based API development, databases, and technical project management and a proven ability to lead complex modernization and integration initiatives, deliver high-quality solutions, and manage stakeholders across enterprise programs.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain service virtualization solutions using SmartBear ReadyAPI and WireMock.
• Virtualize REST/SOAP APIs and downstream dependencies to enable parallel development and early defect identification.
• Define reusable virtualization patterns, standards, test data strategies, and governance practices.
• Provide technical leadership for Java-based REST APIs and microservices, including design, integration, and troubleshooting.
• Conduct technical reviews, guide teams on API design and error handling, and perform root-cause analysis of integration issues.
• Ensure adherence to architecture, security, scalability, and engineering standards.
• Own technical execution and coordinate across application, architecture, QA, DevOps, infrastructure, and business teams.
• Identify risks, bottlenecks, and dependencies and drive mitigation to closure.
• Serve as the technical escalation point for application, API, virtualization, environment, and integration issues.
• Engage with client technology leaders, product owners, architects, and delivery stakeholders.
• Provide concise status reporting on progress, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and mitigation actions.
• Drive continuous improvement across API engineering, service virtualization, test automation, performance engineering, CI/CD integration, and delivery efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Service Virtualization expertise with SmartBear ReadyAPI and WireMock.
• Proficiency in Java-based API development and microservices, with strong database knowledge.
• Technical project management with ability to lead cross-functional execution.
• Experience with performance testing and engineering practices.
• Strong stakeholder and client engagement, status reporting, and risk management.
• 8-10 years of relevant experience as a technical manager or lead.

Preferred Skills:

• Performance testing and engineering using modern tools and methodologies.
• Delivery management for enterprise-scale programs.
• Client engagement and stakeholder management across business and technology teams.

Role Logistics

• Work location: Nashville. Remote.
• Allocation: 100.
• Local candidates not required.
• Work authorization required. No visa sponsorship.
• Travel and expenses not covered by client.

Education & Industry

• Minimum graduate degree or equivalent experience.
• Industry experience is preferred.
