    Job Title:Application Processor - Human ResourcesReports To:Directors of Talent and Support ServicesClassification:Paraprofessional (Clerical/Teacher Assistant)Wage/Hour Status:Non-exemptDays:230Salary:See Compensation Plan for Paraprofessional/Administrative Support Staff, Pay Grade 208Contract:NoneDate Revised:7/23/2026Primary Purpose:Performs various duties, including data entry, scanning and processing auxiliary and paraprofessional applications as required. Attends to all walk-ins and phone requests from applicants and employees.Qualifications/Skills:

    Education/Certification:

    • High school diploma or equivalent.

    Special Knowledge/Skills:

    • Able to maintain confidentiality of all applicant records.
    • Ability to work well with peers, managers and applicants
    • Able to communicate effectively.
    • Minimum Assessment Standard: Broad knowledge of MS Word and broad knowledge of MS Excel.
    • Knowledge of Applitrack, Munis/Tyler Content and Filemaker a plus.
    • Bilingual Preferred
    • Strong Interpersonal Skills
    • Ability to communicate and resolve issues with applicants, employees and substitutes.

    Experience:

    • Data entry and word processing experience.
    • Three (3) to five (5) years office experience preferred.
    • Customer service support experience.

    Major Duties and

    Responsibilities:

    Clerical Support:

    • Process auxiliary and paraprofessional applications, including data entry, scanning, background checks and scheduling testing as required, while maintaining confidentiality of all applicant records including, but not limited to, background checks, references and assessments.
    • Verify applicant eligibility and activate qualified applicants in the applicant tracking system.
    • Reactivate past applications, as well as past and present employees, to be included in current and/or special pools (postings) as requested through written notification.
    • Assist in reviewing files and analyzing transcripts and foreign credential evaluations to determine if candidate has sufficient credentials.
    • Maintain and process transfer requests.
    • Process and expedite paraprofessional and auxiliary ESM's (recommendation for hire).
    • Maintain and process paraprofessional transfers and list for distribution.
    • Check and maintain Employment Authorizations
    • Process early resignation stipends

    Communication:

    • Communicate status of all application pools to principal(s) and/or department head(s) as necessary
    • Respond to auxiliary, paraprofessional, and walk-in and phone inquiries.

    Other:

    • Participate in all district job fairs.
    • Participate in cross-training.
    • Perform other duties as required.

    Supervisory

    Responsibilities:NoneEquipment Used:Computer and various office equipment.Working Conditions:

    • Maintain emotional control under stress.
    • Work with frequent interruptions.
    • This position requires regular in-person interaction with the public.

    Physical Demands:

    • Repetitive hand motions.
    • Prolonged use of the computer.
    • Frequent sitting, stooping, bending, pushing and pulling.
