Application Programmer - Jersey City, NJ - Contract - $68-73 Per HR
Join our team to work on innovative solutions in a hybrid setting, with responsibilities including hands-on application development and support for data, analytics, and reporting functionalities. This contract role requires extensive experience with modern data technologies and collaboration with technical leads and product owners.
Description
- Start ASAP, with expectations to begin 2-4 weeks after offer.
- Hybrid schedule requiring a minimum of 3 days per week onsite.
- Work closely with technical leads and product owners.
- Deliver and support data, analytics, and reporting functionalities.
- Responsible for application development across the software development lifecycle.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and performance in database environments.
- Lead migration of legacy database modules to modern data stack.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and support data and analytics functionalities.
- Collaborate with technical leads and product owners.
- Implement data pipelines for efficient data processing.
- Optimize performance for scalability with large data sets.
- Troubleshoot and optimize application performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 10-12 years of experience in SQL programming and development.
- Experience with data architecture and database design in big data environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
