What You'll Do:
Collaborate with sales, design, and production teams to understand customer needs and develop tailored mechanical solutions.
Analyze customer specifications and propose suitable product configurations and modifications.
Prepare technical documentation, including CAD drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), and application reports.
Provide technical support to customers during pre-sale and post-sale stages, including on-site visits if required.
Communicate complex technical information clearly and effectively to internal and external stakeholders.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends, standards, and emerging technologies.
Other duties as assigned.
What You'll Need:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, project management, or similar field.
5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, applications engineering, or project work in rotating equipment industry.
Experience working with EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) contractors.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and/or engineering design drawings.
Experience bidding and management industrial equipment projects.
Familiarity with distribution model and/or industrial equipment sales.
Experience with rotating equipment product lines and manufacturers, size and selection of pumps and rotating equipment.
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
Strong understanding of mechanical systems, thermodynamics, materials science, and manufacturing processes.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Experience in a customer-facing technical role.
